Key Benefits
Supports Healthy Blood Sugar Management*
Cinnamon has been widely studied for its potential role in supporting healthy glucose metabolism. It may help improve insulin sensitivity and assist the body in maintaining healthy blood sugar levels when combined with a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and appropriate medical care.
Important: Cinnamon essential oil is not a treatment or cure for diabetes and should never replace prescribed medications or medical advice.
Promotes Healthy Circulation
Its naturally warming properties help stimulate circulation and provide a comforting sensation during massage, especially for tired muscles and joints.
Rich in Natural Antioxidants
Cinnamon essential oil contains naturally occurring compounds that help protect the body from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.
Natural Antimicrobial Support
Traditionally used for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, cinnamon essential oil can help freshen the environment when diffused and is commonly used in natural home care blends.
Supports Immune Wellness
The warm, invigorating aroma may help support general wellness and create a comforting atmosphere during seasonal changes.
Enhances Focus & Mental Alertness
Diffusing cinnamon essential oil may help create an energizing environment that promotes concentration and mental clarity.
Relieves Muscle & Joint Discomfort
When properly diluted with a carrier oil, it provides a warming massage experience that may help ease temporary muscle stiffness after physical activity.
Refreshes Indoor Air
Its spicy fragrance helps eliminate unpleasant odors while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
How to Use
For Aromatherapy
- Add 2–4 drops to a diffuser to create a warm, comforting, and energizing environment.
For Massage
- Dilute 1 drop of cinnamon essential oil in 10–15 mL of a carrier oil such as coconut, almond, or jojoba oil before applying to the skin.
For Home Care
- Add a few drops to homemade cleaning solutions or potpourri to naturally freshen rooms.
For Bath
- Mix 1–2 drops with a carrier oil or unscented bath base before adding to bathwater. Never add the essential oil directly to water.
For Diabetes
- Add a few drops of Cinnamon Essential Oil to 50ml water and take it twice a day.
For Sore Throat
- Put 1 drop of Cinnamon essential oil in a hot cup of water or tea and drink slowly to soothe your throat.
For Weight loss
- Unstable blood sugar can lead to overeating, low energy, and weight gain, but adding a few drops of cinnamon oil to fruit, tea, oats, baked goods or smoothies helps slow the rate at which glucose is released into the blood.
Precautions
- Always dilute before applying to the skin. Cinnamon essential oil is highly potent and can cause skin irritation or burns if used undiluted.
- Perform a patch test before first use.
- Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, and other sensitive areas.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not ingest unless under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before use.
- Individuals with diabetes who are taking blood sugar-lowering medications should consult their healthcare provider before using cinnamon essential oil, as it is not a substitute for medical treatment and may not be appropriate for everyone.
- Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.
